COLLECT & CONNECT - BLAUE FÄDEN SPINNEN

In the organizer's words:

In this curated exhibition, works by 23 predominantly contemporary artists from 11 countries (Afghanistan, Belgium, Canada, France, Germany, England, Kazakhstan, Mongolia, Thailand, Turkey and the USA) are brought together in a kaleidoscope-like manner. Their painterly, graphic and photographic figurative works reflect the artists' respective perceptions and confrontations with our world and our present. There are artists who are still at the beginning of their careers and others who are already recognized worldwide. Although they all come from such different countries around the world, it is possible to discover connections between their works; in the exhibition, they seem to enter into conversation with each other, to comment on each other in their subjective authenticity, to complement each other, to question each other, to expand their own space of meaning and that of others.
The 5 gallery rooms, in which pictures with different accents are brought together, bear names that offer visitors a loose context in which to embark on a journey through the pictorial worlds, to find and stretch blue threads themselves.
