Cockaphonix

In the organizer's words:

Cockaphonix from Yakima, Washington, brings an extraordinary sound to the stage: a mixture of quirky saloon music, New Orleans street jazz and a touch of carnival circus punk.

Cockaphonix was founded in 2017 by "Rayko Stanislav" (Raymond Malstead) and "Holiday Dan" (Daniel Koenig) as a duo. With a 100-year-old piano and an old drum kit, they created a wild cacophony of sounds. Gradually, rough, rousing melodies emerged, which developed into a complete set after a year.

Later, Chris Nobbs joined the band with his valve trombone. With the addition of Roly Espino's trumpet and Nathan McCartney's tuba, the horn section was finally complete.
