What better way to celebrate the gathering of friends, colleagues and comrades from partner cinemas around the world than by throwing a party, SİNEMA style?

Taking place on Saturday, 7th July, festivities begin at 23:00 with Maque, a multidisciplinary Bolivian artist known for her transformative, genre-blending DJ sets that combine strong bass and dembow, creating a hypnotizing, pelvic-summoning experience.

The renowned Sherryaeri will takeover at 01:00 for a sonic journey through Jersey Club, Baile Funk and Electro Chaabi via Arabic sounds.

🪩💦 Music and party @sherryaeri considers highly political and tries to present artists as well as genres that don't get as much space as they should and mixes them with Arabic sounds. They therefore locate themselves in the category "genrefluid" and take us through different genres just to name a few: Rap Edits, Jersey Club, Baile Funk and Electro Chaabi. One thing is clear: their sounds are always for booty shaking, relieving stress and letting go of the pressure under capitalist, patriarchal white supremacy.

🪩💦 @maquepereyra multidisciplinary artist who believes in the transformative power of pleasure. Her music and DJ sets are a ride for pleasure and perreo, for dancing pegadito and transforming rage into sweat, joy and sexiness. Born and raised in Bolivia, she started blending cumbia, reggaeton and traditional bolivian music sounds into her choreographic performances, to then start rapping, DJ-ing and producing music herself. Weaving different genres with a strong bass and dembow, her sound is a hypnotizing pelvic/culo summoning.
