Performance/dance concert and folk dance party with live music
CHOREOMANIACS
Hannah Shakti Bühler & Charlotte Simon (excerpts, approx. 30 minutes)
In this work, choreographer and dance professor Hannah Shakti Bü hler describes a journey through time that combines the dancing bodies of medieval dance rage and southern Italian rituals with a contemporary, humorous and post-feminist view of cyborg culture. Together with musician and performer Charlotte Simon, they create a dance concert in which the audience participates in a kind of liberation ritual. A ritual between order and disorder, in which the body becomes both organic matter and machine; between obsession, hysteria, humor and resistance.

FOLKDANCEPARTY
Hannah Shakti Bühler & Simon Mayer
A hosted dancefloor celebrating community and the art of celebration as a resource in times of instability. Inspired by old and new traditions and rituals, the audience is invited on a journey through different dance styles and dance games in an interplay between participatory, animated and performative moments. The dance floor will be accompanied by live music from Claudio Prima, Simon Mayer and musicians from southern Italy. Southern Italian pizzica meets Balkan rhythms and alpine dance melodies.
