Chordial: Unter dem Mond

In the organizer's words:

Dark the night, bright the moon. A symphony of clairs-obscurs awakens fears and hope, death and love, passion and lamentation. Feelings come to the surface more easily at night, but also seem more fragile and vulnerable. Schubert, Elgar and Vaughan-Williams invite us to perceive the closeness of death, while the composers of northern Europe invite us to a deep connection with nature in their clear and mild summer nights. The Ensemble Chordial is a solo vocal ensemble dedicated to a demanding repertoire of early, romantic and modern music.

Works by Schubert, Elgar, Vaughan-Williams as well as Peterson-Berger, Alfvén, Rautavaara and others.
