MusicTheaterInstallation
Man is mortal. This fact is as inescapable as man's desire to escape death. People find eternity in science, in art, in God or even in their own children. As in an exhibition, CHORA brings together texts and music that move in this space between life and death. The concrete hall beneath the Egyptian Collection is filled with sounds ranging from Claudio Monteverdi to Arnold Schönberg and György Kurtág. A music theater installation in between.
In cooperation with the Staatliches Museum Ägyptischer Kunst im Kunstareal München and der/gelbe/klang - Ensemble für aktuelle Musik.
