Kosmik Kat aka Pedo Knopp , follows an invitation from our resident Chesney Tropicale and is back in town!

For those who don't know him yet, we'll try to give you a brief overview of his background as a DJ and cultural creator.

As a DJ, he combines exceptional music from all corners of the world with a flair for the dancefloor. He is known beyond the borders of his home city of Frankfurt as a musical jack-of-all-trades: He has put together two compilations for the Nippon Connection Film Festival, has played festivals and clubs between Amsterdam, Dar es Salaam, Helsinki, London, Luanda, Paris and São Paulo for over 15 years as part of the Analog Africa Soundsystem and is co-organizer of various club and cultural formats with different musical focuses. These include LAZY, Halva, Africadelay, Saravá and Super Discoteca Tropical.

As a collector and ambassador of tropical music, he has presented legendary acts such as Anibal Velasquez, Ebo Taylor, Karl Hector & the Malcouns, Konono No. 1 and Orchestre Poly-Rythmo De Cotonu as well as DJs from Antal to Alma Negra, Coco Maria, DJ Kobal, DJ Pãulao, DJ Tahira and Nickodemus to Softrito / Hugo Mendez in Frankfurt over the last 20 years.
