Carglass Köln-Triathlon 2024

On September 8, 2024, Cologne will be all about endurance sports. The Carglass® Cologne Triathlon invites athletes of all levels to take on the challenges of swimming, cycling and running.

Participants can expect an unforgettable experience: the swim starts directly in the Rhine, where the athletes have to fight against the current. They then cycle along the banks of the Rhine, over the highway and back into the heart of the city before the run takes the athletes over the famous Hohenzollern Bridge. With the majestic Cologne Cathedral in the background, the finish line is crossed at the Tanzbrunnen - an emotional highlight for every finisher.

The right distance for everyone

Whether you are an ambitious triathlete or a beginner - the Cologne Triathlon offers the right challenge for everyone. From the sprint to the Olympic to the middle distance, there is something for all tastes. Those who prefer to master the challenge as a team can also register for one of the relay competitions.

• Sprint distance: This consists of a 1.5 km swim, 24.2 km bike ride and 4.8 km run.
• Olympic distance: This consists of 2.2 km swimming, 43.2 km cycling and 9.5 km running. This distance can also be completed as a relay.
• Middle distance: This includes 2.6 km swimming, 81.2 km cycling and 19 km running. Here too, it is possible to complete the course as a relay team

The Cologne Triathlon is more than just a competition. It is a celebration for all those who love sport and want to discover the city of Cologne. In addition to the sporting competition, the event also offers a colorful supporting program with numerous attractions for spectators and participants.
