Sometimes subtle and light as a feather, sometimes lush and exalted: Camille Bertault, the Frenchwoman with the "impressively agile voice" (JazzThing), is a dazzling multi-talent. She makes her mark with imaginative improvisations and a delicate timbre, but always with a tone of conviction. The trained jazz singer and classical pianist with an opera and theater background has absorbed the scat tradition extensively. She also has a talent for writing lyrics: Her songs and vocalizations of well-known standards testify to a pronounced penchant for whimsical wit and biting irony. A sophisticated alliance between sound and semantics, slightly laconic and highly personal.

Poetry on the nylon guitar: Dominic Miller, widely known as Sting's guitarist for many years, has long since made a name for himself as a solo artist. On twelve albums to date, the Argentinian has pursued his very own style, a mixture of jazz, pop, folk, contemporary classical music and Latin American elements. As a guitarist, Miller seduces with warm, melancholy textures and melodies; as a composer, he is an ingenious storyteller. Miller and his formidable band come to Bonn with the current album "Vagabond", works from Sting's repertoire complete the program. Their subtle music is rich in shades and elegant harmonic twists.
