Bürgerzentrum Neue Vahr: SQUARE

In the organizer's words:

SQUARE stands for: Solidarity among each other, qualification of multipliers, support with integration, treating each other with respect, being respectful to each other, empowerment for the network.

The Bürgerzentrum Neue Vahr project promotes integration in a creative way and facilitates encounters between third-country nationals and people from Bremen. "Discussion points" have been installed in Bremen - meeting places in various public institutions where people meet regularly and discuss a specific topic under the guidance of moderators and exchange ideas in an appreciative manner. Experiences and stories are shared here that have a positive impact and, above all, are emotionally moving. As part of "Landscapes of Memories", the community center is setting up a discussion point in the Schwankhalle.

Information on accessibility

All public areas of the Schwankhalle are at ground level and accessible without steps.

There are three different toilets: a barrier-free toilet that can also be used by wheelchair users, a toilet with 3 toilet cubicles and a toilet with urinals and a toilet cubicle.
