Buchvorstellung und Vorlesestunde: 'Neue Geschichten von Hoppetinken'

In the organizer's words:

Hoppetinken - that's the name of the dwarf who has fabulous adventures in Dortmund and the surrounding area in the children's book of the same name. Just in time for the Advent season, the sequel "Neue Geschichten von Hoppetinken" (published by transfer. verlag.) is now available in our bookshop.

The second volume contains seven new stories. There is a reunion with the green woodpecker Winfried and the fairy Graziosa Grazinella, but there are also a few new characters: It is teeming with elves, mermaids, sea monsters and alpacas. The read-aloud stories are once again aimed at pre-school children and school starters.

On 28.12.2024, author Rüdiger Wulf - former director of the Westphalian School Museum and volunteer reading mentor - will present the sequel, read from the book and answer any questions about Hoppetinken and his adventures. It will also be active and creative with illustrator Olena Otto-Fradina, who will bring coloring pictures and crayons.
