About the book: The danger posed by the AfD is not sufficiently reflected in public discourse. The party is trivialized by describing it as "right-wing populist", for example. However, it has long since developed into an extreme right-wing party. Its goals are insufficiently addressed and its willingness to use violence is regularly omitted. At the same time, it achieves high approval ratings. Hendrik Cremer shows a development that was not thought possible for a long time in view of German history. The AfD's strategy threatens to work if the discourse about it and the way it is dealt with does not change fundamentally. A well-founded educational piece to recognize the dimension of the attack on liberal constitutional democracy.

Hendrik Cremer, Dr. jur., works at the German Institute for Human Rights. His many years of work focus on right-wing extremism and racism. He is the author of numerous academic publications and has often been invited to speak as an expert in the Bundestag and state parliaments.
