Book swap and bookmark making in the Lyra women's room

Whether feminist popular literature, fantasy or niche crime novels or theoretical basic values - especially in the cold season we like to cozy up with a book. Because we think it's a shame that books often end up gathering dust in the cupboard afterwards, we want to swap our (favorite) books with each other.

Please bring a book that you would like to swap. The book can have a feminist connection, e.g. be by a female author or have a female protagonist - but this is not a must!

Lyra is a place for women and girls from the Union Quarter to come together in a cozy and child-friendly atmosphere. Lyra stands for sisterhood. Sisterhood means supporting and strengthening each other. We empower each other to stand up for our interests. In this space, we want to develop together as women and feel our own and collective strength. We want to be strong, resistant and courageous!
