BRUCHOVRAVY x Post! What?: Poetic degustation #010, Dávid Koronczi & Co.

In the organizer's words:

Princesses, princes and all the fairies in between. We're here again, and as usual, it's going to smell just right! Here with me, as always on microphone 3, is the femme fatale from Michalovce, a prominent gossip girl of the Bratislava theater scene, director and performer Laura Petrus. From behind microphone 2 I greet you, the Slovak Hungarian from Fiľakovo, no.1 village flaneur and Erős Pista of the art scene Dani Kálmán...

Sziasztok srácok, this is the Post! What?

"BRUCHOVRAVY" is a composed feast in which the experience of good food is combined with the discursive or poetic character of contemporary art. For the tenth edition, the BRUCHOVRAVY crew has selected the art-critical podcast "Post! What?" by Dani Kálmán and Laura Petrus. As practitioners, they know the visual arts and theater inside out. While the performers cook live on stage and put the finishing touches to the menu, the presenters take the art bubble apart. They speculate, for example, on the forms of performativity in the Slovakian parliament, the role of lángos in art or the worries and joys of parenthood in the conservative countryside. But above all, this evening will be about love and eating together.

"BRUCHOVRAVY" was initiated by visual artist Dávid Koronczi to create a festive situation - as an occasion to focus on the metabolic processes that connect us to the ecosystems around us. It is an ongoing project in which the cast is constantly changing, as is the framing of the event itself. Sometimes "BRUCHOVRAVY" is a catering at cultural events, other times a poetic performance. The first edition was co-created by the following artists during a residency at the Schaubmar Mill (Slovak National Gallery, Pezinok, Slovakia) in June 2021: David Přílučík, Rastislav Kraviansky, Martina Szabóová and Nikola Čemanová.
