Botanical Print

In the organizer's words:

Botanical printing is an old dyeing technique in which fresh plant parts are wrapped in fabric. The dyes contained in the plant are transferred to the fabric by steaming. In the workshop, you will create a cotton bag and a silk scarf with botanical print and learn about natural dyes and how to prepare the materials.

The printed fabrics can be collected from the Lichthaus once they have dried (after one week).

No previous knowledge is required.
