Artistic design of the old hull fragments of the M/S Stadt Köln

The engine telegraph is still on hold. But that is about to change. And until the time finally comes for the historic council ship M/S Stadt Köln to say "Bordstrom EIN!" and, restored to its former beauty, sail the Rhine anew, AKK workers and guests have symbolically, with foresight, chosen this departure command as the title of an unusual exhibition project. They followed the idea of creating works of art from the fragments of the ship's hull that were removed during the restoration work and marked by corrosion.

The exhibition will open on January 18, 2025 at 4 pm. Free admission.

Opening hours from January 19 to February 2:

Saturdays and Sundays: 11 a.m. - 6 p.m.

Thursdays and Fridays: 4 - 7 p.m.
