Bookclub Zine - a heartfelt wish of Book & Breakfast
From February 21 to 23, 2025, literature enthusiasts from all over the world are cordially invited to the "Bookclub Zine" exhibition at Köşk to become part of a creative and open community. Discuss together and exchange the latest reading recommendations or enjoy the silence, browse and immerse yourself in new reading adventures - the exhibition offers space for all forms of literary experience.

At the center of the exhibition is the handmade zine of the Munich book club "Book & Breakfast", with which the open reading group fulfills a long-cherished wish: It tells the story of the book club, which began in January 2023 with four people and now unites over 200 women (including trans and non-binary) from all over the world. And it brings together the experiences and perspectives of the members in a creative format. The handmade magazines reflect the diversity and dialog between different cultures, age groups and lifestyles.

An accompanying video documentary by filmmaker Rauan Shmanova offers insights into the creation of the zine and the creative work of the book club. The photographs presented in the exhibition are by artist Eduardo Dets Garcia, whose unique perspective and creative vision characterize the works.
