BLIND TASTING AT UNCORKED ART

The supreme discipline of tasting is blind tasting. What exactly does that mean? You taste wines without knowing where they come from, which grape varieties were used or which producer they come from. The only thing that matters is your own sensory perception.

For each blind tasting evening, we select five different exciting wines that we want to taste together and get to the bottom of.

What can you expect from us?

• We will start the evening with an aperitif, which we will explore together
• Afterwards, we will begin with a blind tasting of five selected wines from different German / international wine-growing regions. Of course, we will give you a short introduction on how to taste the wine in order to get the most out of it.
• For each wine we will give you time to take notes on the wine, which grape variety you have in your glass, which growing region, vintage, ageing and so on.
• The evening is filled with little quizzes, sensory surprises and lots of aha moments 🙂

What is included in the ticket?

- Blind tasting with 5 sensory exciting wines directly from the winemaker

- Professional tasting grid and sensory sheet to take notes during the tasting

- Small quizzes about wine with questions that everyone can answer 🙂

- Detailed background information on the respective wines, winemakers and growing regions

- Introduction to the world of wine tasting with specialist knowledge on the subject of wine sensory analysis

- Fresh bread, water and coffee beans for neutralization are also included

- Small snacks such as nuts or pretzel sticks

- A list with an overview of all the wines tasted
