Blue is gone. Gone from the world, from the protagonist's perception. Yet blue was such an important, warm color in the young woman's life. Not only has blue been lost, a great love has been lost to an untimely death. The process of mourning is accompanied by memories of growing up as a girl and a woman, as a young queer person, between the choir of pubescent cousins, discovering her own desires and meeting her great love.

Leonie Lorena Wyss tells all of this in "Blueprint" in a very entertaining, rhythmic and eloquent way. Wyss was awarded the author prize for the play at the 40th Heidelberg Play Market.

Leonie Lorena Wyss, born in Basel in 1997, is currently studying Language Arts at the University of Applied Arts in Vienna after studying Cultural Studies and Aesthetic Practice in Hildesheim. In 2022, Wyss was nominated for the Hans Gratzer Scholarship at the Schauspielhaus Wien. Wyss received the Retzhofer Dramapreis 2023 for the play "Muttertier".
