...or: Annika Blanke makes sense of the world. An evening between cabaret, spoken word, comedy and storytelling.

Annika Blanke looks exactly where it hurts - and talks about it. That is important and right - and one thing above all: highly entertaining! The Oldenburg slam poet and cabaret artist has been performing on various stages in German-speaking countries for over fifteen years and knows how to inspire with her clever texts and unique style of delivery.

In her brand new solo program, Annika Blanke once again explores the boundaries between the tragic, the thought-provoking and the humorous: She tells of people on the hunt for a little happiness and dealing with the very big contradictions of the world. And, in passing, it clarifies the important questions of life: What does a deceased Austrian philosopher have to do with a Swedish fitted kitchen? What are the consequences of wanting to be absolutely consistent in your actions? What is a smile zone? And when was the last time we actually thought about Afghanistan?
An evening of cabaret, spoken word, comedy and storytelling. Without a false bottom and guitar, but with lots of nuances and side blows.
