John Matrix lives a secluded life in the mountains, but his past in an elite unit catches up with him. After the murder of his former colleagues, he himself is attacked and his daughter Jenny is kidnapped. The demand: Matrix is to kill the president of a South American republic in order to help the overthrown dictator Arius to power. He apparently agrees, but then sets off in search of his daughter. A race against Arius' private army begins.

Action specialist Mark L. Lester(The Class of '84) scaled the action Olympus of the 80s with Commando: There's shooting, blasting, breaking and slashing like there's no tomorrow, accompanied by a roaring James Horner soundtrack. Right in the middle of it all is the most bizarre special effect: Arnold himself, who delights in the best Styrian English and with an oiled upper body in top form.
