The KIEZKLUB starts the next round!

Istanbul, Berlin, Tehran - the witch appears everywhere as a figure of resistance. For the next round of the Kiezklub, we are looking for people with a connection to (queer) feminist protest movements from different cultures, as well as magicians, healers and fortune-tellers who would like to tell their stories. Using performance and biographical theater, we will explore the motif of the witch in order to develop a play from it. We try out magical rituals and invent new ones, read the future from coffee cups and ChatGPT, shout protest choruses and spells.

The KIEZKLUB: BITCHCRAFT starts in February 2025 under the direction of theater makers Margret Schütz and Çiğdem Üçüncü.

The project is aimed at women and FLINTA* between the ages of 18 and 99 - preferably BIPoC - who would like to engage artistically with the topics mentioned. No theater experience necessary!

Info meeting: 25.2.
Selection workshop: 4.3.
Rehearsal period: 11.3. - 6.5. every Tuesday in the studio
Intensive weekends: 15 & 16.3. and 10 & 11.5.
Performances: 16.5. (premiere), 17, 23 & 24.5., 6 & 7.6.2025
