In order to gain the trust of a major dealer, undercover investigator Robert has to infiltrate the milieu as the partner of trans woman Leni. A real challenge, as the two used to be a couple. The story becomes increasingly complicated for Robert, as the line between play and real feelings becomes more and more blurred for him. For Leni, the question doesn't even arise - she has no choice anyway. The success of the mission determines whether she has to go back to prison or not.

In this crime thriller full of retro aesthetics, we have to look past the unsympathetic macho Robert with his male tears and straight to the grandiose Thea Ehre as Leni. Seen in a small supporting role as a forensic scientist in the TV crime scene, she fortunately has a leading role here and was awarded an acting prize at the Berlinale. Ioana Iacub, who we already know from WIR KÖNNTEN GENAUSO GUT TOT SEIN from the previous month, is also involved. The number of actors in the German feature film is just as limited as it is on TV. But everything looks and is much more exciting. Just cinema.
