BIRDLAND VOCAL SESSION FEAT. SUSANNE EHRCHEN & PAISLEY PEOPLE

The Birdland Vocal Session is the open stage event for singers. Accompanied by a professional band, everything from jazz, pop, blues, rap, soul to freestyle improvisation is brought to the stage.

Beginners are welcome!

Note: Bring a lead sheet for one or two songs that you would like to sing.

Opener: Oh, the 70s! We had nothing back then, no cell phones, no hashtags - but hash cookies and lots of good music. The Paisley People take us on a musical journey through time. Pink Floyd, Joni Mitchell, the Commodores sound very jazzy and above all groovy. Susanne Ehrchen 's voice adds the necessary pinch of soul and blues.
