Bio-Abendmarkt

Since 2022, the organic evening market has been held from February to November on the first Thursday of every month at Hallmarkt and on the third Thursday of the month on the green space at Volkspark in Halle (Saale). Gourmets have the opportunity to buy high-quality organic products for the weekend in an evening market atmosphere from 3 pm to 7 pm.

At this small but fine market, you will find cheese made from the milk of Harz red cattle, goats and sheep, vegetables, honey and beekeeping products, tea, herbs, wholemeal flour, cereals, pasta, baked goods, fruit juices and freshly pressed linseed oil.

The organic evening market is an initiative of the organic farmers with the support of the BioHöfeGemeinschaft Sachsen-Anhalt to save customers the often long journey to the individual farms and to give them a feeling of "shopping on the farm" in the middle of the city, as the organic farmers and processors usually take the time to stand at the market stall themselves. Only goods from small artisan businesses in the region are available here.
