As with many cyclists who love to travel, corona thwarted Sara's travel plans. She had planned a big bikepacking adventure on the 4,300 km Great Divide Mountain Bike Route in North America - but ended up here at home in search of an alternative adventure: she rode on gravel roads and MTB trails across and along Germany: on a gravel bike from Riedmatt on the Upper Rhine to Rügen on the Transgermany Trail.

A bikepacking tour of over 1,600 kilometers, varied, full of exciting experiences and unplanned adventures! For Sara, this was the start of her ultracycling career, as she went on to take part in the Northcape 4000 and Transcontinental Race. But that's another story...
