Pow Pow Movement is one of the most experienced and multifaceted sound systems for dancehall, reggae, afrobeats and bass music in Europe. The Cologne-based crew has been in the business since 1990 and is considered a heavyweight in the dancehall & reggae scene. Behind Pow Pow Movement is a success story that hardly any other sound system in Europe can boast. The Cologne-based band has had a huge influence on dancehall reggae in Germany, not least due to the label productions of mastermind Ingo Rheinbay. These have often found their way to the top of the German charts, with songs such as Superior or Runaway, voiced by the former MC of the sound system, Tilmann Otto aka Gentleman. The Pow Pow Production label has won several gold and platinum awards with Seeed and Gentleman, among others. Countless gigs around the globe and of course lots of vibes make the POW POW phenomenon possible. Hardly any other DJ team can compete with the crew around Ingo, Devon, Pascal and Mr. Brown in terms of professionalism. At the World Clash 2000 in New York, Pow Pow Movement won international acclaim and has been booked more frequently than any other sound system in Europe ever since. In Cologne's Petit Prince, they organized their own dance every Friday for 23 years, making it the longest dancehall reggae party series in the whole of Germany. The party series "Bruk Out" is currently held every first Saturday of the month in Cologne's Yuca Club.

The crew had a tremendous influence on the reggae-scene in germany combined with productions of mastermind Ingo Rheinbay. Together with the former MC of the soundsystem, Tilmann Otto aka Gentleman, some of their productions found their way into the german pop charts, with songs like superior or runaway for example. Countless shows around the globe, successful chart placements and of course lots of vibes makes the POW POW - phenomenon possible. Pow Pow Movement entered the worldclash 2000 in New York, as europe's first intercontinental sound ever for such an event. Although they failed to win, Pow Pow Movement gained worldwide recognition and paved the way for other european sounds to come after on this terrain.
