Big Birthday Bash - 20 Jahre Horns Erben

In the organizer's words:

20 years of Horns Erben - beer, sweat and dreams

What began as an insider tip behind iron bars has become one of the most popular clubs in Germany over the last 20 years. Over two thousand concerts, readings, theater performances and events. Tens of thousands of guests and hundreds of thousands of euros in renovations and investments.

We are delighted to have been inspiring visitors, artists, supporters and ourselves for 20 years. We are celebrating this occasion with a big party and a selection of our favorite bands and DJs from 20 years of Horns Erben.

Line-up:

HORNS BAND

"And What About The Band?" Living together, sharing everything and improvising life and music in the capitals of the world. Everything as intensely as possible and regardless of losses. What sounds like the perfect movie romance is merely a paraphrase of the most groovy band of the 2010s. The HORNS BAND last played in 2015, in squats, on the street, in fine jazz clubs, in rancid rock sheds and at the legendary Horns parties. The Horns Band always gives the audience what it needs: a band that means what it plays.

Searching for Home

Searching for Home will finally be touring Germany again in 2025. The eleven-piece band collective with musicians and producers from all over Germany overruns clubs and festivals with great sound, enormous joy of playing and fat beats, without missing out on rich colors and fragile moments. Led by the versatile voice of singer Ida, the musicians impress not only with their flashes of solo creativity, but above all with their collective feel for the moment and the audience. With influences ranging from jazz and funk to indie rock, classical and world music, you could accuse them of not knowing what they want. But the opposite is the case here: they know exactly what they want, they simply don't want to leave anything behind on their journey.

In 2022, the band released their last album "Hidden Errors" (Neuklang / Bauer Studios), toured at home and abroad, celebrated radio premieres and won first prizes at the Sparda Jazz Award and the international Jazzfruit Contest. Now Searching for Home is back with the music from their EP to be released in 2025. Under the motto "More Bubbles", the young musicians appeal to look optimistically to the future, to try things out and not to miss out on anything. A human and musical message that should not be missed.

Glam Folk from Leipzig

Deen & Blumenstein is an indie folk duo from Leipzig. Both are thoroughbred musicians and love nothing more than performing on as many stages as possible and have been doing so for quite a long time, in various combinations. What sets them apart live is the mix of Deen's soulful and catchy melodies and lyrics and Blumenstein's unique improvisation. This special mix means that every concert is unique in its own way. Added to this is the quick-wittedness and comedic flair of both live professionals. A nice balance to the sometimes melancholy and thoughtful music, which is never pushed into the background. While one song is still fragile and tender, Blumenstein plays his violin like a glam rocker in the 70s and Deen's voice brings rock'n'roll and folk together.
