Arsonists are in town, setting fire to the roofs above the heads of the well-behaved, sleeping citizens. Despite all warnings, hair tonic manufacturer Gottlieb Biedermann offers accommodation to two peddlers in his attic and ignores their incendiary machinations to the bitter end. In his "Lehrstück ohne Lehre", Max Frisch tells of the decision to take the path of least resistance - with all its devastating consequences.

The ensemble of the long-running successful production "Biedermann and the Arsonists" is embarking on a great journey in October 2024: to China! Max Frisch's "Lehrstück ohne Lehre", directed by Susanne Schmelcher, has been invited to the Wuzhen Festival and will make a guest appearance in Wuzhen from October 24 to 26, 2024.
