Best of Poetry Slam

With the Best Of Poetry Slam, the best slam poets in Germany will be performing on the most beautiful stage in Mainz! Because - between you and me - yes, we residents of the state capital are demanding! We've seen everything, even the things we didn't want to see. We attended the relentless school of the party scene, graduated from the main train station and spent hours freezing our butts off in the club queue. For years, we tasted canned beer on the Rhine as if it were the most expensive champagne. In short, we've worked damn hard for our exquisite taste and now it's finally time for the best: time for the best poems and stories. Time for the wildest side of literature!

Poetry slam means 100% living stage literature! In the competition for the love of the audience (and a bottle of high-proof schnapps), performance text and poetry, funny everyday stories and silent poems, literary rock 'n' roll and highly poetic condensation meet here. The rules are very simple: 10-minute time limit, 4 poets in the competition, 5 judges from the audience, 1 microphone for everyone: fast-paced, highly entertaining, entertaining and always on the pulse of the times. An evening for poetry slam gourmets and all those who want to become one.
