Gabe Walker (Sylvester Stallone) is considered the best mountain rescue man in the Rocky Mountains, but after a tragic accident he has sworn never to set foot in the mountains again. More than a year has passed since the accident when a plane crashes in the Rockies, and only the best man can save the survivors from certain death. For Walker, it's a question of honor: he decides to attempt the climb again after all. But what awaits Walker on the summit puts even him to the test.
