In the organizer's words:

The association has been supporting children and young people in the Windhoek district of Katutura in Namibia for over 20 years. All the children come from disadvantaged backgrounds. Some of them are orphans.

In its role as a sponsor, the association covers the costs of school materials and subsequent vocational training. We also help to finance school clothing, transportation to school, accommodation and help with schoolwork. Since the foundation of the association, two children's homes in Windhoek/Katutura have already been built in addition to individual case support.

The association currently supports the Ubuntu Children's Home in particular, where 10 abandoned and sometimes traumatized children and young people are cared for on a voluntary basis. This facility receives no financial support from the state or church.

Fritz Köster

A Braunschweig veteran. He has been making music for 56 years and started playing guitar at the age of 14. Since then he has played in various bands and also solo.

His repertoire includes authentic English-language music such as blues, country and good oldies that put you in a good mood when you listen to them. Occasionally he also plays dance music in a band.

His motto: "The joy of music is what drives me"
