The Balfolk event series by the group "Pälzer Danshaisl" introduces the audience to classical French and Breton folk music and dances.

The dances are explained so that even interested beginners can dance along to the pieces played live by Andreas Neumann and Markus Krimmer on diatonic accordion and woodwind instruments. Sometimes the two musicians are also supported by members of the Viernheim Jam.
