The four young musicians of baff! don't need any instruments for their music, because four voices form an impressive overall sound that will leave many people wondering where the drums are hidden. The singers of baff! only need their four microphones and their mouth-made music with a big pinch of good humor.
baff! amazes and surprises. baff! moves. baff! wants to think but also doesn't want to stop.
baff! makes music. Pop music. Music that doesn't let up. German lyrics, sophisticated but catchy arrangements and melodies, topical yet timeless themes. Sometimes fragile and tender. Then again powerful, profound, direct. baff!'s music has a unique liveliness.
On and off stage, the four musicians Josefine Reichert, Lilly Ketelsen, Jonathan Mummert and
Maximilian Kleinert from Lübeck, Leipzig, Dresden and Berlin are good friends, singers with a strong character and absolutely themselves. They show a clear line, but don't get boring. They address important topics, but don't take themselves too seriously. At their concerts, there's not a dry eye in the house, not a dancing leg left unturned and not a corner of the mouth down. baff! is pure. Honest. Authentic. And skillfully closes the gap between the edge of the stage and the first row of the audience.
