Kick-off for the 30th anniversary of Eschschloraque & 30th anniversary of Haus Schwarzenberg

SUPERSIREN and VELA are the DJs who founded the infamous BadassBassBombardement ! There could hardly be a more fitting aftershow for this year's Salon Schwarzenberg exhibition as a prelude to the celebrations for 30 years of Eschschloraque and Haus Schwarzenberg: "Art needs (free) space" is the credo of the inaugural exhibition - the free space that SUPERSIREN and VELA create lies in the sound:

A dense electronic fabric of tech house, deep house, breaks and techno reigns here. The sound becomes freedom. A space without constraints, without a social corset. And he brings out the heavy artillery: SUPERSIREN and VELA's "BadassBassBombardement" is the term for rousing sets that make the experience of two co-creators of the underground tangible.

SUPERSIREN is not only the namesake of the "BadassBassBombardement" at Eschschloraque, but also, like VELA, one of the five founding members of Femmes with Fatal Breaks - one of the first event series with a female-only line-up, which started back in 1999.

SUPERSIREN started cooking records back in 1996 at Betty Stürmer's art happenings. Her engagements have taken her through all of Berlin's clubs, parties and to appearances on legal and illegal radio stations in Berlin. For this anniversary, she is happy to get carried away with a few record drops. Everything, really everything, that is bass-heavy, funky, rough, nasty & funny in any way, goes under her needle - and into your ear canal.

VELA stands for a musical flair and the freedom to let yourself fall and be inspired by the all-encompassing sound - until you reach your personal "Everything Is Possible moment".

She has been bringing electronic underground club culture to Eschschloraque since 1999, has been a resident DJ at Berlin clubs such as Maria and Tresor and is a key player in FLINTA* initiatives, for example as a resident at the "Fuck Your Gender" party series.

"Art needs (free) space" - SUPERSIREN and VELA create it in sound, because with "BadassBassBombardement" the motto is: "Everything Is Possible!"
