B-BOYS MAKIN‘ WITH THE FREAK FREAK

In the organizer's words:

The exhibition shows pictures by Robert Hak that document a trip to New York together with Frederik "Torch" Hahn.

Torch about the trip:

"In 2015, I decided to fly to NYC again. When I told Robert about it, he replied briefly: 'I'm flying with you. I've never been to New York. Just book the same flight for me! To my surprise, that's exactly what happened. Our trip lasted from April 9 to 21, 2015 and went from Zurich to Newark.
I had the contacts and knew my way around. He had the camera and captured everything. I was his guide on site and he became my eyes."

This exhibition is a testimony to shared experiences. A tribute to friendship, discovery and the pulsating energy that flows through the heart of the most dynamic city in the world.

No "samples, keyboards or synthesizers" were used in the creation of the images - just vibes with family and friends, a love for hip-hop and the urge to explore the urban environment on a skateboard.
