STATES OF UNCERTAIN DOMESTICITIES an exhibition

From January 18 to March 15, 2025, the residential building at Heidestrasse 54, built in 1870, will be home to the STATES OF UNCERTAIN DOMESTICITIES exhibition. The HAUS KUNST MITTE exhibition space located in the building is the ideal place to stage the theme of 'house and living' in a variety of artistic ways.

Works by 44 international artists have been selected, who approach the theme in a multi-layered way using painting, video, audio, photography, installations, performances and sculptures. The curators Alba D'Urbano and Tina Mamczur have linked the themes of 'house and living' culturally, socially, psychologically and spatially and connected them to the former residential building and its surroundings.
