Olga Balema: The Distance

In the organizer's words:

The Kunstverein in Hamburg is presenting new sculptures by artist Olga Balema; a further development of a series of transparent sculptures created by fusing and bending thin sheets of plastic. What exactly will be on display is still a surprise, as the sculptures are only created on site and not even the artist knows exactly what form they will take. Last time, they were created in different lighting conditions and without sketches or drawings. Each sculpture is intended to have qualities that overlap with the real world, but do not refer to or depict anything in particular.
