Naturalism to Pythagoras - Günter Brendel's exhibition of drawings, watercolors, oil paintings, collages and graphics throughout the Budde House

"Origin and change: I found my artistic origins in nature with the depiction of landscapes. I came to abstract painting through the sounds of nature, music and rhythm. At the same time, in 1992, I began the concrete realization of the Pythagorean theorem. In it I perceive the universe, music, construction and spirituality. I therefore feel like a mediator between science and art. The ambiguity of mathematical references and concrete art forms fascinates me."
says Günter Brendel about himself.

For all those who were unable to attend the vernissage on January 8, 2025, the entire exhibition can be viewed again. The artist will be present.
