Sina Heffner's initial interest is the relationship between humans, animals and nature, which she explores in drawings, photographs, installations and sculptures in public spaces. Her preoccupation with animals starts with our conception of nature and images of nature and questions their order. Her exhibition "Symbionts" also deals with this area of tension. The series of drawings "From Travelogues" (since 2024) is reminiscent of nature studies, of the meticulous depictions in historical botany books.
