Ausstellung: Euregionaler Architekturpreis

In the organizer's words:

The "Euregional Architecture Prize" is awarded annually for the best final theses from the five architecture faculties in the Euregio (Aachen, Hasselt, Liège and Maastricht). The NRW Chamber of Architects is a cooperation partner of the young talent prize and is now exhibiting the prize-winning works of the 34th Euregional Architecture Prize at its office in Düsseldorf's Medienhafen until February 7.

All three prizes were awarded in November to graduates of RWTH Aachen University and Aachen University of Applied Sciences. First prize went to Charlotte Dahmen and Marlene Kossmann from RWTH Aachen University for their project "Wo Wir Alt Werden". Luka Hauschild (FH Aachen) was awarded second prize for his design "Material-Fabrik Köln-Kalk". And third prize went to Lennard Flörke from RWTH for "Du bist keine Schönheit?".

The winners of the 34th EAP were decided by an expert jury consisting of Johann Eckartz, Ragnhild Klußmann, Martin Sobota and Andrea Tenuta. The EAP is awarded by the interdisciplinary cultural institute SCHUNCK* in Heerlen, the Netherlands: www.schunck.nl

The works can now be discovered as part of the exhibition at the office of the Chamber of Architects of North Rhine-Westphalia. A finissage with a presentation of some of the award winners will take place on February 7 at the NRW Chamber of Architects. Register now for the finissage: www.aknw.de
