Aurora Edition
Aurora Edition is an avant-garde series of ambient, drone and experimental live concerts. It takes place in selected institutions and venues. At each live show, customized audio and video projections are projected onto the domes and walls of the respective architecture. With the aim of seamlessly merging music and visuals, Aurora collaborates with several artists for each edition, creating impressive atmospheres that perfectly complement and expand the architectural setting.

Since the event series' inception in 2023, Aurora Edition has simultaneously transformed into a record label, presenting its first release with Yanlings Cymatic. In the October edition at silent green, Yanling presents her new album Cymatic with a four-piece choir, complemented by performances by Jan Urbiks and Amedeo Cappelletti. Audiovisual artist Tim Novikov visually designs the program with custom-made dome projections.

Yanling
Yanling, founder of the Aurora Edition event series, has named both the opening track and her upcoming album 2024 Cymatic . Cymatic refers to the visible patterns created on matter by its acoustic vibrational movements. A way of translating sound waves into visual patterns. These wavelike traces represent the frequencies that our ears interpret as sound. While sound conveys something indescribable, the connection between sound and its visual form symbolizes for Yanling a deep sense of her inner self. This new work reflects her search for something elusive and intangible - akin to an infinite, undulating wave surging back and forth from its source.
In the live version of the album, Yanling performs with a four-piece female choir: Annika Dörner, Hannah Endrulat, Dinah Kouyaté, Mathilda Adamik

Jan Urbiks
Jan Urbiks is an electronic music composer, percussionist and spatial sound engineer who has cultivated a unique niche at the intersection of sound art and technological innovation. A firm believer in the transformative power of sound, Jan Urbiks has dedicated his career to the exploration of spatial audio content and its intersection with contemporary art and music. His work is deeply rooted in an experimental and conceptual workflow that goes beyond conventional listening experiences, offering transformative soundscapes that engage with the spatial and psychoacoustic dimensions of sound.

Amedeo Cappelletti (cplt)
Amedeo Cappelletti (cplt) is an Italian sound designer and producer based in Berlin. His work focuses on sonic and aesthetic contrasts and the relationship between sound and space. cplt's projects are developed through intensive sample manipulation, field recordings and modular synthesis, with a recent focus on details derived from his sound design work for video games and film. He has performed live at venues such as Monom, Funkhaus and Punctum (CZ), often in collaborative and multimedia contexts.

Tim Novikov (AV)
Born in Uzbekistan and trained as an architect, Tim Novikov 's practice works at the intersection of conceptual development, artistic research, A/V tech direction and engagement in open source ecosystems. Recently, he has been actively involved in the development of gamified interfaces in the Web3 and blockchain domains. He developed and presented A/V projects at MONOM 4D Studio, VR installations at Art Basel in Miami and Basel (2021), Printworks London, Julia Stoschek Collection's Worldbuilding exhibition (2022).
