Aura Dione doesn't have to rely on anyone to produce her music: The singer-songwriter has the valuable talent and the necessary energy to take matters into her own hands.
In 2008, the self-confident musician landed her first number 1 hit in Germany: "I Will Love You Monday" achieved platinum status, reached the top 10 in many European countries and the accompanying video has already been viewed more than 100 million times on social networks. The second single "Song For Sophie" stayed in the German charts for 22 weeks and her third single, "Something From Nothing", also made it into the charts.
Three years later, Aura Dione once again wowed the whole of Germany and reached number 1 in the charts for the second time with "Geronimo". Alongside 60s pop star Gitte ("Ich will nen Cowboy als Mann"), she was the only one to place two top songs in the neighboring country. Her second single "Friends" reached the top six of the European singles charts and, as with the first album, the third single "In Love With The World" also made it into the charts.
On her third album "Can't Steal The Music", the folk-pop musician presented an intoxicating kaleidoscope of styles and production techniques. "When a song is easy to play on the guitar, you know it's good," she explains.
"The journey from Heartbreak to Hope is now complete!" - with these words, Aura Dione commented on the release of her EP "Fearless Lovers", which includes the songs "Shania Twain" and "Last Man In The World". But her musical journey is far from complete - the year 2024 will be an exciting one for the thoroughbred musician, and we look forward to being able to experience some of it at the Pavillon.

It reads a bit like the script of a movie: a young woman from Germany who does something to do with advertising quits her job and flies to New York, where she plays "just like that" at The Bitter End, one of the most legendary live clubs in the world, the cradle of her idols such as Donny Hathaway and Stevie Wonder, thus laying the foundation for her music career.
Miu could now be a household name in Germany as a soul-pop artist and multi-instrumentalist, having marched into the album charts in 2019 with her own small label and her double album "Modern Retro Soul", being the first artist to play at the Elbphilarmonie or having a song on ARD Tatort in 2023 and being invited as a special guest by greats such as Joe Bonamassa.
The Hamburger Abendblatt newspaper described her as having "the soul of Donny Hathaway, the charm of Audrey Hepburn, but also the depths of Amy Winehouse and the strength of Adele". Inspired by strong songwriters like Carole King, raw sound specialists like the Black Keys, the atmospheric sounds of Michael Kiwanuka and great vocalists like Adele or Melody Gardot, Miu brings her songs into the here and now with an assertive sound. Dirt and shine, raw oomph and delicately shimmering enamel.
