After "The Package", "The Way Home" is another book by thriller author Sebastian Fitzek, which Lauscherlounge is adapting in an abridged version as a live radio play for the stage. The ensemble of fantastic actors, a foley artist and a sophisticated sound design and music will make this production an unforgettable evening. This live radio play adaptation will be written by Josef Ulbig and Julia Ostrowski, with the latter also directing.

Whoever knows the date of his death has already begun to die. It is Saturday, shortly after 10.00 pm. Jules Tannberg is on the attendant phone. A voluntary telephone service for women who get anxious on their way home late at night and wish for a telephone companion whose calming voice will guide them safely home through the night - or call for help in an emergency. There has never been a truly life-threatening situation. Until today, when Jules speaks to Klara. The young woman is terrified. She believes she is being followed by a man who has already attacked her once and who has painted a date in blood on her bedroom wall: The day of Klara's death! And that day is less than two hours away ...

The director

Julia Ostrowski is a radio play director, author and project manager. Since 2019, she has been directing various formats for Das Hörspielstudio XBerg, including the fictional podcast series "Der Adventskalender" by Markus B. Altmayer, the 30-hour radio play epic "Die Waringham Saga - Yvain" by Rebecca Gablé and the children's radio play series "Die Fuchsbande" by Jana Lini. As a radio play author, she recently adapted the 6-part radio play series based on Katja Brandis' bestselling books "The Woodwalkers", which she also directed.
