Scenic reading with Kolja Podkowik (Antilopengang), Elisabeth Degen, Jaron Löwenberg, Natascha Manthe and Tomer Lev Tov

On October 7, 2023, the Islamist Hamas and its accomplices attacked peaceful people in Israel. They burned, raped, kidnapped and murdered people whose only mistake was to be in the territory of Israel.

Director Sharon On tackles this harrowing subject with great care. Accompanied by videos and projections, five actors read reports from witnesses and survivors of the suffering: there is the report from Sivan, who is holed up in a kibbutz that was attacked. Hamid, an Arab Israeli, tells how he had to save his baby after his wife was shot next to them. A family in the Nachal Oz kibbutz experiences how the terrorists infiltrate their home. We hear the testimonies of young people who survived the brutal attack on the Nova Festival. From the parents of Shani Louk, who was killed, and the relatives of migrant workers from Sri Lanka, who mourn their loved ones killed in the massacre.

A space is created for storytelling and listening, for mourning and reflection, but also for an exchange.
