In the organizer's words:

What felt like a hundred years ago, which in real life was almost thirty years after all, the Attwenger madness began. "Most" was released in 1991 and the first band info already made it clear what was to happen in the future: "Most means thinking in dialect and dipping your skull in cider".

In the meantime, various skulls have been dipped in cider and they still mostly sing in dialect. But what the two of them have achieved in terms of musical development and opening up in all directions at the same time, while always remaining Attwenger, is something that someone has to imitate. Yes. And what does Markus Binder have to say about that?

"some people think that attwenger is the most inimitable band between linz and overseas, while others have never heard of us or have forgotten about us again. that's why we've made our 9th studio album, an overdue boomer production, 15 new songs with all the trimmings:

also because circumstances wanted to be brought up that are annoying. if they weren't annoying, then why the music? to stop beating around the bush: this album is about what he sees this way and she sees that way, what a phony bastard is, that happiness has become a business and that the father is grumpy all thumbs, that people are far, but unfortunately no further, which can all be completely irrelevant, followed by rhyming banter and songs about credit and debt. beyond that, it's about reality being too real, a little less would do a lot of good, also about what one of us likes, what everyone i know doesn't want to know, about a dreamlike drum and that ultimately no one needs to wet their pants.

drum can be a trumm, i.e. one of those debris that suddenly stand in the way, possibly in the form of an oversized turnip, even if it's only a virtual one. but be that as it may, everything here is constructed anyway. up to 70 tracks per song, each of them edited in one way or another, the lyrics, if not spontaneously created, fiddled together over months, sometimes over years. nothing here is authentic, but everything is deceptively real."
