Even her birth name Ásdís María Viðarsdóttir somehow sounds like bubbling volcanoes and ice-cold glaciers - a stark contrast that the musician, originally from Reykjavik in Iceland, also conveys in her danceable signature sound of electropop with subtle 80s influences and her passionate, instantly recognizable powerhouse vocals.

Ásdís reached 2nd place in the German airplay charts last year with her first solo single "Angel Eyes" and has achieved a total of almost 71k worldwide airplay hits. The Icelander continued this success with her second single "Flashback" last summer.
