Arved Fuchs has been undertaking expeditions to the remote polar regions of our planet for over 40 years. The internationally renowned polar explorer is the first person to reach both the North Pole and the South Pole on foot within a year. But what was originally a great adventure for him has long since become a mission.

On his expeditions, he experiences the special aesthetics and beauty of the Arctic landscapes. At the same time, he is directly confronted with the effects of climate change, the littering of the oceans and landscapes, and the extinction of species.

The OCEAN CHANGE expedition sheds light on both sides - on the one hand, the breathtaking beauty of nature and, at the same time, its vulnerability. Arved Fuchs calls a spade a spade - and makes it clear what we are losing and what we need to change. Arved Fuchs campaigns for the protection and preservation of nature. His thesis:
