ArtNight: Rote Boote

PICK OF THE DAY Active & Creative
In the organizer's words:

What awaits you:

The small sailing boats drift slowly into the distance, while you can completely relax while painting.

This abstract scene is full of creative painting techniques!

Get to know the many possible uses of a simple palette knife, create gentle color transitions with the wet-on-wet technique and create an exciting perspective with the help of the vanishing point.

Set sail and begin your creative journey.

What you will learn;

Acrylic:

Acrylic paint is a real all-rounder! When applied thinly, it can be used to create watercolor effects; when applied thickly, it creates a high color intensity. It can be thinned with water, dries quickly, is odorless and waterproof when dry.

Wet-on-wet:

The wet-on-wet technique involves working quickly and directly on the paint that has just been applied and is still wet, or spreading it with another layer of paint. It can be used to create beautiful organic and soft color transitions.

Spackling:

You can achieve great color effects with a palette knife and create a wide variety of textures that would be impossible with a brush. Depending on how you hold the palette knife and the pressure you apply, you can influence the thickness and shape of the paint application or removal.
