Art & Wine: Watercolor painting course with wine tasting

Spend a creative and relaxed evening with painting & enjoyment at our "Art & Wine" event at Maki Handmade Atelier Stuttgart West.

Under the guidance of our artist Chris, you will be introduced to the world of watercolor painting and learn how to put your own works of art on paper. At the same time, an exquisite wine tasting awaits you with the experienced sommelier Kim, who will present you with a fine selection of regional wines.

Creative evening with painting course & wine tasting

The evening begins at 18:00 in the Maki Handmade Atelier with a glass of sparkling wine to welcome you.

Afterwards, artist Chris will introduce you to the art of watercolor painting with relaxed exercises and we will paint the wine glasses exercise motif. The special feature: we paint with boiled wine! We have two options to choose from for the main motif , which you will implement using your new knowledge.

While you paint, you will taste two white wines and a red wine from the region, perfectly matched to the relaxed evening. The whole experience is accompanied by a selection of water, sparkling water and small snacks / nibbles.

Whether you already have experience with watercolor painting or are trying it out for the first time, this evening offers the perfect combination of art and enjoyment in a sociable atmosphere.

The location

On this special evening, your hosts will be Frederike and Camilo from Maki Handmade, a charming goldsmith's shop with a small, intimate creative space where a variety of creative events take place. You won't find a fancy event location here, but a creative and informal atmosphere.

Important information

We do not offer full meals, so please do not come with an empty stomach :) Small snacks / nibbles and water will be provided.

Parking spaces are rather scarce in the evening in the west of Stuttgart, so it is best to come by public transport or plan enough time:

• Subway: Schwab-/Bebelstraße (4min walk)
• S-Bahn: Schwabstraße (6min walk)
